Mobile Phones

Can you still imagine your life without a mobile phone? Most likely not. Mobile phones help us connect with other people, and of course, we also use some of them for entertainment.

Smartphones

These are mobile phones with a touchscreen and an operating system. In addition to standard phone functions, smartphones offer extra options in the form of installing various applications.

These are classic mobile phones, primarily preferred by seniors. They only have basic functions that allow making calls, sending SMS messages, setting alarms, and some even have a basic camera or flashlight. Their advantage is long battery life.

According to the type of distribution, mobile phones can be divided into three categories:

New Phones

These are mobile phones from the official Slovak distribution. They come with a 24-month warranty. A phone is also considered new if its box was opened for display in a store. However, the phone has never been used and contains all original, unopened accessories.

New Phones from Buyback

These mobile phones are new and have never been used. They also come with a full 24-month warranty. The box was opened for our inspection. Protective films from the factory are still on the phone, and the package also contains all original, unopened accessories.

Used Phones from Buyback (Refurbished)

These phones are divided into categories A, B, C, D based on signs of use. They come with a 12-month warranty. Phones are packaged in the original or an eco-friendly box if the original was damaged. The package includes original accessories. In case of non-functional accessories, new replacements (charging adapter and data cable) are included. All used buyback phones have been thoroughly inspected and tested, and can be used like new phones.

When choosing a smartphone, you can consider various parameters or additional features. The most common include:

Brand

Many customers choose based on the brand. They usually pick one and remain loyal to it for a long time. In our e-shop, you can choose mobile phones from brands like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Motorola, Sony, Nokia, or Realme. Operating System

The most widespread operating systems for smartphones are Android and iOS, used only by Apple phones. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages, and the choice depends on the customer.

Price

Price is certainly one of the key factors when choosing a mobile phone. Based on price, mobile phones can be divided into three categories:

Basic Mobile Phones

These are the cheapest phones, approximately 100–150 euros. These smartphones have lower performance and weaker specifications. They are suitable only for basic use, such as calling or running basic apps.

Mid-Range Mobile Phones

These are the best-selling mobile phones. They are intended for regular users who expect higher quality and performance, but still at a reasonable price.

Flagship Phones

The most powerful and highest-quality smartphones designed for demanding users.

Camera

For some users, the camera and its specifications are very important. Basic mobile phones have weaker cameras. In addition to resolution, you can focus on features like digital or optical zoom or image stabilization.

RAM (Operating Memory)

RAM of 1–2 GB is suitable only for basic use and is therefore mainly found in cheap mobile phones. For smooth smartphone operation and app usage, 3–4 GB or more is recommended. Flagship phones often have 6–8 GB RAM or more.

User Memory (Storage)

The most common options are 32 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB. Some phones no longer support SD cards, so it is better to choose a smartphone with larger storage. For regular use, 64 GB is sufficient.

Battery

Most commonly available smartphones have a battery capacity of 3,000–4,000 mAh. With regular use, a phone should last one to two days. The higher the battery capacity, the longer the phone lasts without charging.
